As the salon manager at Telleish, Jason brings a diverse background to the hair industry, transitioning from a former construction project manager, wedding photographer, and carpenter to now his favourite career - the salon industry.

Proudly one of the first faces you’ll encounter upon entering the salon, Jason embodies the spirit of this family business. He expertly manages the front desk and all the fun behind-the-scenes activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly while nurturing his beloved salon plants.

With a keen focus on exceptional client experiences, Jason is your go-to person for those small yet important details that make all the difference.

Chantelle
Owner

Chantelle, affectionately known as “The Telle in Telleish,” has devoted over 28 years to her passion for the hair industry. With hairdressing woven into her DNA, her journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Celebrated for her perfectionism and genuine heart, Chantelle possesses a limitless repertoire of skills, bolstered by an impressive resume as she embarks on her 18th year in business—all centred around cultivating meaningful connections.

In her pursuit of excellence, Chantelle has traveled the globe, educating and inspiring fellow hairdressers for renowned brands like Olaplex and Lakme Colour, as well as in business development. Leading a carefully curated team, she embodies strong drive and determination, upholding the core values of honesty and passion to create a “Salon for Life” for both clients and stylists alike.

Though Telleish has won numerous industry awards, it is the indelible mark and lasting impression Chantelle strives to leave on her clients and team that truly fuels her passion and inspires her every day.

While Chantelle’s books are currently closed, her talented team, personally trained by her, continues to excel in their craft, ensuring that the legacy of excellence at Telleish lives on.

Director & Educator

With over 20 years of experience, Teagan’s true passion lies in the art of cutting hair. Starting her journey locally, her dedication to growth and innovation took her to London, where she expanded her skills by working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week and training at Vidal Sassoon. Throughout her career, she has consistently pushed the boundaries of her craft.

Teagan is committed to creating wearable, long-lasting haircuts that prioritise hair health and home care. Her approach is rooted in the belief that a great haircut should empower clients to feel confident every day. Passionate, dedicated, and continuously evolving, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to both her clients and her team.

Beyond her client days in the salon, Teagan dedicates herself to education as our head cutting trainer and mentor. Her mission is to inspire confidence and excellence within our team, ensuring each guest leaves not only with a beautiful haircut but also a truly memorable experience.

Lauren
Master Colourist & Executive Cutter

Meet Lauren, one of our talented Irish-born stylists and master colourists, boasting over a decade of experience in the art of hair transformation. Her journey began at a young age, fuelled by a passion for styling her friends' hair. Since then, she has honed her skills through extensive education and hands-on experience.

Recognised as one of the top 5 Redken “Gloss Boss” colourists in Australia, Lauren has a strong affinity for creating stunning blondes, working with fine hair, and achieving lived-in colours. Her expertise shines through in her ability to deliver beautiful, natural-looking results.

Client love her exceptional communication skills and her commitment to hair integrity, leaving every appointment with the reassurance that “she’s got you.” A true perfectionist, Lauren is a master in both cuts and colours.

When she’s not in the salon, Lauren enjoys diving into psychological thrillers, hosting game nights with friends, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to new destinations.

Dani
Master Colourist & Advanced Cutter & Educator

Meet Dani, Our Telleish-trained Master colourist. Dani is passionate about colour—her favourite thing to do in the salon. She embodies the “Telleish Touch” and has been with us for 9 years. Dani has already built a strong loyal following and is definitely one to watch in the industry. Her skill set is impressive, with an emphasis around communication and consultation. She loves creating beautiful foil work that “ grows out seamless” & is a copper colour Queen ! A strong Twisty blow-dry is her speciality when it comes to styling and helping clients on their Healthy hair journey.

Dani heads up our internal colour education for emerging artists, with a passion for growing the next generation of stylists and sharing her expertise and inspiration.

Outside of work, Dani is bubbly, friendly, and always making clients feel at ease. She loves spending time with her fur babies, and grew up in Malaysia.

Meet Bec, one of our talented Telleish-trained stylists who has been with Telleish for 8 years. She’s passionate about the condition of your hair and takes great care in creating personalised home care plans to keep your hair healthy. Bec specialises in effortless, lived-in colours that provide a beautiful, natural look. She loves tackling any colour and haircut, bringing her creativity and versatility to each client. She’s calm and reserved, bringing a soothing presence to the salon & a relaxing ambiance to your appointment. Bec is passionate and dedicated to her craft leaving you feeling confident in her trusting hands. She also heads up the cutting and styling education leadership team for our emerging artists.

Outside of work, she adores her dog Peanut and enjoys walks along the beach.

British-born, Joanna has been shining in the industry for over 14 years. She loves creating natural, lived-in colours and long layered haircuts. Having educated salons in Asia she’s a specialist in colouring dark hair & one of the lead colourists and stylists at Telleish. Jo’s leadership sees her mentoring the team and sharing her passion for styling. A kind and soft-natured soul, Jo is confident and brings a wealth of knowledge — we absolutely adore her. She works part-time while raising her two beautiful boys, and she’s been a valued member of the Telleish team for 8 years. Her caring nature and dedication to the salon and industry make her a true asset.

Carly is a talented artist with a passion for enhancing natural hair colour, creating personalised haircuts, and is really knowledgeable when it comes to the Science of hair . Known for her quick wit in the chair and her ability to make clients feel at ease, she brings a warm, caring, and down-to-earth approach — a reflection of her upbringing in the country. One of our most requested stylist with a loyal following as her attention to detail and her exceptional fine foiling consistently wins clients over. She also excels at hair-ups and event styling, making her the perfect choice for special moments. As a vital part of our internal education team, Carly trains our emerging artists, inspiring them to develop their skills and artistry.

Meet our talented and industry passionate salon manager, Trent! With over 10 years of experience in the hair industry, Trent helps create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all our clients at Telleish, providing personalized attention to detail to make each visit an experience. Customer service is one of Trent's many strengths, please don't be shy as he is always keen for a chat. Trent’s weekends revolve around spending time with George his beautiful cavoodle at the dog park or a nice long walk along the river, and seeing friends for brunch. If you catch Trent without a coffee it would be very rare.. such is his love for one!

Is an experienced hairdresser, who uses her many years experience to lead our Front of house, answering all your enquiries for appointments & juggling the many requests of our huge team, all with heart and loyalty for the brand. Em has been instrumental in the growth of Telleish & is one of the first faces you will meet as you enter . Be warned she will have all your appointments organised for the year . Em adores her cats, and getting tattoos & FYI she has an incredible secret snack drawer at work.
